The United Transformation Movement—UTM interim leader Dr Saulos Chilima has warned to reveal more rot unless the governing Democratic Progressive Party—DPP stops provoking him.
The country’s Vice President said this over the weekend at Chule Primary School in Dedza district.
Dr Chilima said DPP officials and some civil society groups should stop pressuring him to resign.
According to Chilima he agreed to be President Peter Mutharika’s DPP running mate in 2014 after being approached four times by DPP gurus.
He claimed without him, the DPP could not have won the 2014 elections.
Meanwhile, Dr Chilima has backed the leadership of Malawi Electoral Commission to remain in office amid calls from some quarters for MEC top officials to step down over the lost-but-found biometric registration kit.
