Malawi’s first Technology and Innovation company, MHub and Letswai, a Malawian Creative Agency - have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Prebo Digital, an established South African firm of experts in Digital Marketing services, Training and Strategy for small, medium and large companies.
According to a statement, the parties have agreed to work together to offer digital marketing services and training to the Malawian market with the purpose of uplifting small businesses and the wider economy of Malawi by advocating increased and improved internet access.
The parties have also agreed, in principle, to engage in activities that will accelerate overall internet adoption and penetration in Malawi to make it more profitable for Malawian businesses.
Commenting on the partnership, CEO of mHub Mr. Vincent Kumwenda said Mhub was looking forward to the collaboration between Prebo Digital and Letswai in offering world-class digital marketing skills to the Malawian community.
Kumwenda explained, “This partnership reflects our commitment to work with local entrepreneurs and give them access to quality digital marketing services. We firmly believe in the potential that digital marketing has, to uplift small business enterprises in Malawi. We are aware of the importance of utilizing technology to build more relevant and sustainable solutions.”
According to Prebo Digital Managing Director Timo Dinkelman, partnering with industry leaders allow their community members to further develop their skills and apply them successfully in the workplace.

Prebo Digital will provide support and relevant expertise in helping Malawian companies digitize their work, providing business consulting services related to digital marketing.
The company will further assist raising skill levels of corporate companies in key areas such as, Search Engine Optimisation, Social Media Marketing, Google Adwords and Web Development, with specific focus on the customers’ needs.
MHub will organise and facilitate events, mobilizing the entrepreneurship community in Malawi to tap into this lucrative opportunity whilst Letswai will manage all the Public Relations and Marketing associated with the partnership.
