Maravi International Firm (MIF) has affirmed to launch an international music artist and talent showcase competition which shall involve prospective music artists and talents currently free of any exclusive contracts.
Speaking at a conference in Lilongwe, Maravi International Firm CEO Chifukwa Chitembeya said the show seeks to find the most talented singers in Malawi to groom and develop into international superstars.
He added that MIF shall orchestrate nationwide auditions in search for such exceptional musical aptitudes whom shall have a source of pride to compete for the Malawi musical flagship and win the hefty MK1 Million Grand prize and MK 500,000 second prize, respectively.
“The IYGUP music artist and talent showcase competition intends to discover the superlative Malawian singers through series of nationwide auditions. The radiant audience shall consist the panel of judges whom shall critique the contestant performances and artistic compositions.
“The attending spectators at the event venue and through broadcasting media stations shall have the honor, similarly, to participate in determining the eventual homegrown national super star through SMS voting,” Chitembeya explained.

Season One of IYGUP music artist and talent showcase competition reality TV show which kicks off in January 2018 consists of 13 episodes packaged into a 1 hour weekly show.
Central region Auditions are slated for 26th to 28th February 2018 at Bridge View Hotel. Northern and southern region participants will be notified through various media outlets.
