The Southern African Development Community- SADC parliamentary forum has disclosed that soon the forum will come up with model laws on proper management of elections.
Vice president of SADC parliamentary forum Joseph Njobvuyalema disclosed this in an interview with Newsline.
This follows a fourteen member states SADC plenary session held from Twenty November to Fifth December.
According to Njobvuyalema the forum has decided to come up with the model role to ensure that the SADC member states conduct free, fair and credible elections all the time.
This comes following revelations that most countries experience violence acts during elections due to poor management of elections.
Njobvuyalema said the model role on elections will help to address issues that bring about violence during and after elections and establishing of independent electoral management bodies.
