With the 2018 TNM Super League winding up on 29th July 2018, the league's governing body, Super League of Malawi (Sulom) has described the first round session as a mixed bag.

Sulom General Secretary Williams Banda has said the first round was murred by indiscipline from some officials.

Banda also pointed out that poor officiation was the main challenge looking at claims made by club officials since the league kicked off on 14th April.

"It has been fairly competing right away since the league kicked off, we have seen goals being scored but unlucky there has been poor officiating that's according to team's claims and first round records.

"We are grateful to the club officials as well as supporters for patronizing the game.

"On discpline side we would like to say most of the issues has been due to techniques issues like officiating and maybe ill preparation on the side of teams,"said Banda.

However, he also disclosed that the TNM Superleague is likely to take a two weeks break.

"After going through the calendar with Football Association of Malawi(FAM), there are some cup games so we just want to amend the calendar so that we run smoothly in the second half," said Sulom General Secretary.
