Government says plans are underway to roll out operations aimed at rehabilitating the Nsanje world in land port.
Minister of transport and public works Malison Ndau said this when he was responding to growing concerns from various quarters accusing government of abandoning the project which was launched by late president Bingu wa mutharika.

According to Ndau plans to rehabilitate the project are at advanced stage following a recent meeting involving Malawi, Zambia and Mozambique.
He dismissed fears that government has abandoned the project, saying the current administration is fully aware the importance of the port as an economic drive.
