A LOCAL NGO TRANSFORMS YOUTH IN KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

By Kenson McCloud
Grayma Youth & Women Empowerment Organisation says knowledge and skills development is a catalyst through which youth can demonstrate their potential to the country’s development.
The organisation which trains youth and women in different aspects of life to become self reliant and productive citizens has expressed worry that a lot of youth are just staying idle because they do not have what it takes to compete on the job market.
The remarks come as the organisation has organised a Data Management & Analysis and Entrepreneurship training scheduled for 26-29th August 2022.
Speaking to Timveni News Desk, its Executive Director, Maggie Chalera Chikwapula said the organisation saw the need to conduct the training after observing the gap.
