ACTION AID EMPLOY SPORTS TO END CHILD MARRIAGES

Action Aid Malawi has called on learners and students to utilize sporting activities to help curb child marriages.
The organization’s Cluster Program Manager for the Central Region Wongani Mugaba has also asked youths to report abuse in an effort aimed at bring to book perpetrators.
In an interview Timveni, Mugaba sports events provide platform to sensitize communities on the dangers of child marriages.
Mugaba made the remarks after handing over prizes to winning schools of the Three Million Kwacha ending child marriages debate and quiz competition Action Aid organized in partnership with Kasumbu Development Organization.
