CHAKWERA COMMITS TO EMPOWERING YOUTH THROUGH NEEF

President Lazarus Chakwera has reiterated Tonse Alliance government’s commitment towards empowering the youths through loan opportunities administered by the National Economic Empowerment Fund (NEEF) Limited.

Chakwera was responding to a question from Member of Parliament for Machinga East Ester Jolobala who complained youths from the southern region are being sidelined in loan disbursement.

Jolobala claimed Chakwera has focused much on improving the livelihood of those from the central and northern regions.

In his response, President Chakwera said his government will ensure that "NEEF loans are not politicized".

Chakwera said every Malawian regardless of political affiliation is eligible to get the loans.
