COVID-19 CRIPPLES THE TOURISM SECTOR
The Malawi Tourism Council says this year’s tourism month will be a loss due to Covid-19.

The council’s Chairperson Jones Malili said this in an interview with Timveni as Malawi is this September observing tourism month which is being celebrated ahead of World Tourism Day on September 27.
Malili said in general, 2020 has been worse for the tourism sector due to the financial challenges brought about by the pandemic.
