ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVISTS CALL FOR SUPPORT IN CLIMATE CHANGE FIGHT

By Aamon Butao
Some environmental youth activists have called for financial support to enable young people take an active role in conservation efforts.
The activists say despite youths being very much interested in addressing Climate Change, financial constraint remains the biggest setback.
Speaking to Timveni, one of the youth advocates Dorothy Mwale said the need to provide economic support for the country’s youths is great.
"Young people have good ideas on how to deal with Climate Change but fall short of having the financial backing to turn those ideas into reality," said Mwale.
On this note, she has urged government and other stakeholders to involve youths if resources are available.
