SUICIDE CASES SPIKE IN FIRST QUARTER OF 2023, MEN MOST AFFECTED
FORM FOUR STUDENTS RETURN TO SCHOOL

Government, through the Ministry of Education, has announced that Form Four students from public and private institutions should report back to school on 28th December to prepare for MSCE examinations.
This follows massive leakage of examination papers which prompted President Lazarus Chakwera to give a directive that fresh MSCE exams be re-administered not later than January, 2021.
In a statement signed by Secretary for Education Chikondano Mussa, students are not required to pay school and examination fees hence no school should demand any payment.
In this regard, Mussa hinted that all practical examinations will be shouldered by government.
Newly selected form one students are expected to report to school on 1st February, 2021 after the form four students have finished their MSCE examinations.
