GOVT CALLS FOR COLLABORATION ON PROVISION OF MODERN SANITATION FACILITIES

Government says provision of modern sanitation facilities is vital towards promotion of menstrual health.

Deputy Director for preventive health in the ministry of health Aaron Ganizani said this during the commemoration of menstrual hygiene management day in Rumphi.

According to Ganizani, "it is possible to increase access to menstrual hygiene products amongst girls" especially in the rural communities.

He said this can be achieved through strong coordination among stakeholders.
