As President Lazarus Chakwera reaches 100 days in office, a youth rights activist has asked government to meet with young people and discuss how to improve welfare of youths.
Lucky Mbewe said government failed to engage young people in such a process within the traditional one hundred days in power.
Mbewe said delivery of campaign promises including the One Million jobs could just be a dream unless government listens to what youths want.
He has however described the one hundred days as having many loopholes in as far as youth empowerment is concerned.
He further urged the Ministry of Youth and Sports to balance its focus between youth and sports.
