KCH INSTALLS 12 NEW DIALYSIS MACHINES

Government says the new state of the art dialysis machines at Kamuzu Central Hospital will help reduce kidney failure related deaths and improve health service delivery.
Presidential advisor on non-governmental and civil society organizations Martha Kwataine disclosed this during a press briefing in Lilongwe.
According to Kwataine the previous dialysis machines were a death trap as they claimed lives a situation that could have been avoided.
She said in a medium term plan there is need to engage stakeholders to establish the renal unit at Mzuzu Central Hospital.
The 12 new dialysis machines became operational on 22nd January, 2022.
