 MUSECO COMMITS TO SUPPORT YOUTH IN AGRIBUSINESS

The Multi-seed company (MUSECO) has said it is committed to support the youth in the country to benefit from agriculture.

This has been said during a field day visit MUSECO organized in Tradition Authority Mbwatalika in Lilongwe district where the company showcased how different seed are performing in the fields.

In an interview with Timveni the production manager for MUSECO Stanley Juma said that MUSECO works with youths in seed multiplication as one way of empowering them economically.

He further said that more youths are joining the groups of their youth who are in seed multiplication because of good terms and conditions which are favorable to the youth.

Juma therefore requested youth to join the youth groups MUSECO is working with if they want to venture into seed multiplication type of farming.

Speaking after touring the fields group village headman Kantchichi in tradition authority Mbwatalika said he was impressed with the performance of MUSECCO seeds and promised to talk to people in his village to use MUSECO seeds if they want to overcome hunger.
