NAP CALLS FOR A NATIONAL FRAMEWORK ON INFRASTUCTURE DEVELOPMENT

By Wilson Allan Phiri
The National Advocacy Platform has requested government to develop a framework that will enhance sustainable infrastructural development.
The request comes as the Tonse Alliance administration has so far sidelined the Master Plan which was introduced during the Democratic Progressive Party era.
The Master Plan aimed at improving transportation networks across the country.
Speaking to Timveni news desk, National Advocacy Platform Chairperson Benedicto Kondowe said, "Government has partially adopted selected polices in the Master Plan in its national budgets."
According to Kondowe, a national framework on infrastructural development has the potential to transform the country.
