One Step Foundation is probing for support from well-wishers to assist over 100 needy students who are on the verge of missing out on their education due to financial challenges.
These students, most of them street connected and orphans, were recently selected to pursue their studies in different secondary schools across the country.
Speaking to Timveni, executive director for the One Step Foundation Moses Mwalabu said the students are in dire need of tuition fees and school materials to help them in their studies.
Mwalabu said although various partners are currently supporting over Nine Hundred street connected children in different schools more support is still needed for the remaining students.
The foundation has detested offering of hand-outs to street connected children but has urged the general public channel the support towards long lasting solutions.
