NPC, NICE SIGN MOU TO SELL MW2063 TO MASSES

The National Planning Commission has signed an agreement with the National Initiative for Civic Education (NICE) Trust to sensitize the citizenry about Malawi 2063. 

During the signing ceremony of the MOU on Wednesday, Director General of the National Planning Commission Dr Thomas Munthali said, "The plan is to reach out to about 80% of the population."

According to Munthali, the development strategy will be achievable if Malawians are equipped with information to take part in national building.

"NICE Trust has been taken on board to address the information gap," said Munthali.

He further said NICE Trust will play a crucial role in designing capacity building and awareness programs that in the end can contribute towards mindset change.
