PETRA CALLS FOR THE INDEPENDENCE OF ACB

By Aamon Butao

Peoples Transformation Party (PETRA) has joined other quarters in calling for the independence of the country’s graft bursting body when discharging its duties.

PETRA said this in a press statement released on Tuesday signed by its Acting Director of communications George Mvula.

According to Mvula Anti Corruption Bureau should be left alone for effective results.

Mvula said Malawians are being robbed by being denied quality infrastructures and other social services due to massive corruption which has crippled the justice system.

The acting director of communications said PETRA has full confidence in the current ACB leadership and its staff.

He said time has come to unite and lawfully fight corruption by giving ACB full support.

On this note Mvula said ACB should ensure that all the people connected to corrupt scandals have faced the long arm of the law.
