PLAN INTERNATIONAL NORWAY APPLAUDS TIMVENI FOR PROVIDING CIVIC SPACE FOR THE YOUTH

Plan International Norway Senior Programs Specialist Phyllis Horea has commended Timveni Child and Youth Media Organization for its commitment to improving the welfare of the youth in Malawi by creating various strategies for youth engagement.

In an interview during her visit to the organization on Wednesday, Horea said Timveni has made it easy for the youth to voice out their opinions on diverse subjects affecting their livelihood. 

Horea said time has come for the youth to demand the future which would help them become productive citizens. 

She further commended Timveni for using youth clubs to reach out to marginalized young people in rural areas.

Horea then said  that Plan International Norway will continue partnering with Timveni in several projects to improve the welfare of children and the youth in the country.
