POLITICAL ANALYST CALLS FOR INCLUSION OF DISSENTING VIEWS ON POLITICAL PARTIES

Following recent political developments, leadership of various political parties has been challenged to accommodate young people space to provide uncensored views on emerging issues. 

UTM Youth Director Bon Kalindo has also been in the news for publicly criticizing the Tonse Alliance’s handling of government business.  

Speaking to Timveni, political commentator George Phiri said, "It is important for youths to speak out on different issues that affect their lives."

Phiri blamed the inner circle of political leaders for blocking dissenting views.

"Kalindo is representing numerous frustrated youths in the country," said Phiri. 

He said this is an opportunity for government to do self assessment and make necessary adjustments to get back on track.
