Reported by Meclina Chirwa

The Presidential taskforce on Coivd-19 says it is disappointed with guidelines some schools have set aimed at preventing Covid-19.
Co-chairperson of the taskforce Dr John Phuka says it is inappropriate to set a certified negative covid-19 result as a pre-requisite for admission of students.
According to Phuka, the mentioned guidelines are not part of the guidelines set by ministry of education for re-opening of schools.
In this regard, the taskforce is reminding all managers for private schools to follow the guidelines set by the ministry.
In the past 24 hours, Malawi has registered seven new Covid-19 cases, seventy new recoveries and no new death.
