WATERAID WARNS OF INCREASING CASES OF CHOLERA ACROSS THE SADC REGION
SOUMA IMPRESSED WITH HIGH NUMBERS OF FEMALES ENROLLING WITH THE INSTITUTION

Share World Open University of Malawi-SOUMA says it is delighted that a lot of girls and women are attaining high education in the country.
SOUMA vice chancellor Theodora Mapemba said this during a press briefing ahead of the institution’s thirteenth graduation scheduled for this Friday in Lilongwe.
According to Mapemba over 55% of the graduating 170 students are women.
Mapemba said it is impressing to note that there is high enrollment for girls and women compared to the past.
The vice chancellor added that since its establishment in 1994 as a private university, it has trained many notable figures who are working in both government and the private sectors.
