A group of concerned teachers has accused its parent body the Teachers Union of Malawi for going ahead with the stay away from work in public schools.
Chairperson of the splinter group Stafuel Chitukuta says the concerned teachers will come with a stand on the ongoing strike by close of business Wednesday.
In an interview with Timveni Chitukuta said, “The strike has disrupted operations in the education sector.”
Chitukuta stressed that TUM should call off the strike to serve the interests of learners.
