TWO IN JAIL FOR DEFILEMENT

Two men have been handed 20 year jail terms each with hard labor for defiling a 15 year old girl at Jenda Trading Centre in Mzimba district last November.
Sopani Nyirongo aged 23 and 22-year-old Ephraim Wilima pleaded not guilty to the charge but the state paraded 6 witnesses before the Mzimba Senior Resident Magistrate's Court who proved the case beyond reasonable doubt.
Both convicts come from Chibungiza Village in the area of Traditional Authority Mabulabo in Mzimba district.
