WATERAID WARNS OF INCREASING CASES OF CHOLERA ACROSS THE SADC REGION
YFHS OVERLOOKED BY STAKEHOLDERS

The Parliamentary Committee on Health has accused some stakeholders of not paying attention to issues of youth friendly health services.
Chairperson of the committee Dr Mathews Ngwale disclosed this in an interview with Timveni.
According to Ngwale, it remains a big concern having some health facilities not being able to deliver such services to young people.
In this regard, Ngwale emphasized need for Parliament to lobby for more resources to ensure sustainability of youth friendly health services in the country.
The Chairperson further added that poor service delivery is also contributing to teenage pregnancies and child marriages.
