Non-Governmental Organization, Mind of Youth and Development, has called on the youth in the country to increase their business activities in order to be economically-empowered and self-reliant.
The organization’s Executive Director, Joseph Peshi, has said this to Timveni Online in reaction to the recent devaluation of the Malawi Kwacha by 25%.
According to Peshi, the youth have to rise up and increase their financial activities.
He said with the devaluation of the Kwacha, the youth do not need to relax and feel sorry for themselves but think of how to survive.
He said the youth have to be innovative in the middle of the global economic crisis in order to improve their lives.
