Action Aid Malawi says youths constitute 35% of farmers who are benefitting from its Kulima Better project in Chiradzulu and Nkhatabay districts.
The charity says this is encouraging as the project is set to phase out later next year.
Speaking with Timveni, Kulima Better Project Coordinator Gracian Kamnyamata said, "Youths have given donors confidence that the intended purpose of improving agricultural practices and climate resilience will be realized."
Kulima Better uses farmer field approach when imparting knowledge on farmers.
